Iron Castings

Grey, SG (Ductile) and specialist iron

We first began casting iron in our Kent-based foundry in 1968 and we now cast thousands of tonnes each year and export to customers around the world.

We produce high-quality grey iron castings, SG (Spheroidal Graphite) or Ductile iron castings, high-silicon and low growth iron castings, plus specialist low-temperature iron castings suitable for extremely demanding applications.

Our particular expertise is in complex core assembly work through the highest standards in sand-moulding. All moulds are produced using air-set resin sand, ensuring unbeatable integrity and surface finish.

All castings can be supplied machined and finished by our in-house machining shop or in raw form to suit client requirements. Plus, nothing leaves our premises until it has been quality checked and confirmed via chemical and mechanical analysis from our extensive ultrasonic and pressure testing facilities.

Grey iron

High-quality grey iron castings at grades 150 - 300 and weights of up to 380kg.

SG / Ductile iron

Our SG iron castings provide a superior surface finish to steel with tensile strengths of up to 900N/mm2.

High Silicon

Our high-silicon cast irons represent the most universally corrosion-resistant alloys available at moderate cost.

specialist iron

Ni-resist (BS3486) NI-hardwear (BS4844) and SiMo heat-resistant alloys at exceptional quality and competitive prices.

low growth iron

We are leaders in low growth iron casting and material manufacture for all uses.

low temperature iron

We cast low-temperature iron of 400 / 18 LT SG grade for dependable use down to -40 degrees in sectors such as railway applications.
